作为一部高达系列的剧场版，《SEED FREEDOM》的原盘质量多少有些出人意料。首先，动画本片在制作中未加入足够保护性噪点，导致部分场景有可见的色带；其次，不同分镜中的线条也有较为明显的锯齿或振铃。
我们大胆猜测，这些瑕疵或许是制作方有意为之。其一，为了保障动态场景与粒子特效的码率分配、减少欠码程度，因此选择省略噪点；其二，作画时的原生分辨率可能接近甚至超过 1080p，为了保持视觉上的锐利感，最终保留了部分锯齿和振铃。
针对本片，我们采用了适配无噪点画面的去色带方案，并进行了保守的反锯齿与去振铃处理，尽量尊重并保留制作方的原始视觉意图。此外，我们也一并制作了 BDBOX 内全部动画及真人特典内容。
As a theatrical film in the Gundam series, the source quality of SEED FREEDOM is somewhat surprising. First, the main animation feature did not have enough protective noise added during production, leading to visible banding in some scenes. Second, the lines in different shots also have rather obvious aliasing or ringing.
We venture to guess that these artifacts might have been deliberate choices by the producers. First, to ensure bitrate allocation for dynamic scenes and particle effects and to reduce insufficient bitrate, they chose to omit noise. Second, the native resolution during the sakuga process might be close to or even exceed 1080, and to maintain a sense of visual sharpness, some aliasing and ringing were ultimately retained.
For this film, we adopted a de-banding solution suited for noise-free footage and applied conservative anti-aliasing and de-ringing, trying our best to respect and preserve the producers' original visual intent. Furthermore, we have also included all the animated and live-action bonus content from the BDBOX.
